The Medleys at the 2012 Reunion

SGM (ret.) John S. Medley passed away at his Indianapolis home on August 31.

John was a longtime dear friend, colleague and early mentor at 82nd Finance. He was both iconic and a legend in the Finance Corps touching and influencing the professional lives of scores of finance personnel, including soldiers, NCOs, commissioned officers and civilians during his 35 plus years both on active duty and as a DFAS civilian employee. Many finance noncommissioned officers, including myself owe their successful finance careers to SGM Medley. Karen and I send our most heartfelt condolences to his widow Sugi, daughter Margaret and the entire Medley family. Rest in eternal peace my dear friend.
