2841, 29 Jan 2022Served as an enlisted active duty member in the Finance Corp from 1981-1985 and assigned to consecutive duty statioins 3rd Infantry Division, 3rd Finance, Wuerzburg, Germany 1981-1983; Fort Dix Garrison finance 1983-1985
Upon ETS, joined NJ national guard, 50th Finance in 1985, attended ROTC and commissioned 1987 in the Finance Corp--continued assignment to the 50th Finance. Rose through the ranks in this unit as operations officer, detachment commander, finance BN XO and Finance BN Commander. Deployed to Bosnia 2000-2001 as Finance BN XO; Deployed to Iraq, LSA Anaconda 2004 as 50th Finance BN Commander
Upon deployment return assgned as the NJ Army National Guard Comptroller 2005-2007; promoted to the Deputy United States Property & Fiscal Officer (USPFO) for NJ 2007-2009. Was nominated, selected, promoted and placed on active duty as the USPFO for NJ in 2009 until retirement in 2019.
Upon retirement in 2019 hired by the Adjutant General of NJ at the state Dept of Military & Veterans Affairs in NJ and assigned as the Chief Financial Officer with a fiscal staff of 57 personnel. Currently working in this position.
