LTC HENRY F. CUSHING To TAPS

Lt. Col. Henry (Hank) F. Cushing Jr., 83, died Dec. 24 at his home in Monroe after a long battle with cancer.

 Lt. Col. Cushing served 20 years in the Army and is a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

Mr. Cushing is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ann Lawlor Cushing; loving children, Jean Cushing Sherrill (Don), Steve Cushing (Beatrice), and David Cushing (Debbie); grandchildren, Bonnie Cushing, Nicholas Sherrill and Rachel Sherrill; brother, Alan Cushing (Diana), and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cushing had a strong faith and was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.

Services were held Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Anna’s Catholic Church, 1401 Alcovy St., Monroe, GA 30656.
