I graduated from the basic accounting course during June 1973. I then was assigned to MDW Finance and Accounting office from June 1973 thru January 1977. During my MDW tour, I attended the Advance Finance NCO course (Class of 75), and the MAC course. Jan 1977, I returned to Ft. Harrison to attend the budgeting course and subsequent assignment to Japan. Where, I was assigned to the 500th MI Group at Camp Zama, Japan, as NCOIC of the Resource Management Office. We returned to Ft. Harrison assigned as NCOIC developing the 73 series soldiers' manual and assisted in the development of the 73 series skill tests. I was selected for promotion to Master Sergeant in January 1981, and retired 1 Oct 1981.
