Earl Daniels Back Surgery

Received this from Earl Daniels, after inquiring about how he was doing following his fall from a horse last year:

  The surgery I had October a year ago is doing well except for the normal discomfort caused by cold weather.

Wish I could tell you that the ole back was doing well but, I just returned from Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem and it appears I am in for another round of surgery.  This time it will be in the cervical area where I had previous surgery (resulting from a bad parachute landing in 1997).  My spinal cord has a bend in it caused by scar tissue from my previous surgery.  This is causing a numbness in both arms from my shoulders to my hands.  I will find out Friday when the surgery will be.
