Keep Bill Nelson in Your Prayers

Russ Dowden provided us this sad news concerning our friend, COL Bill Nelson:

Just a quick word concerning one of our friends: Bill Nelson has served on the Board of Directors at the Financial Center Federal Credit Union (aka, Finance Center FCU) for many years and a few months ago came to me (I am the current Chairman) and told me he wanted to resign.  He felt that his time was better spent (my words not his) at home with his wife, Linda, whose health has been in decline.  This week we learned that Bill himself is in failing health.  Bill has been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has progressed to his right lung.  He has lost a considerable amount of weight and has undergone two chemotherapy treatments with more to come.   I will follow up with additional information as I learn more ... Linda did ask that all keep both her and Bill in your prayers ...
