OnLine Requests for DD-214

The National Archives has a new program whereby Veterans (and/or their next-of-kin) can submit an online request for certified copies of their DD-214 (Report of Separation).

The process is simple and quick, although it requires the faxing or mailing of a related signature page to verify the identity and signature of the requestor.  Check out their "eVetRecs" web page for requesting DD-214. http://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/
