Jack Rogan at 94

Jack Rogan responded to our most recent E-blast announcing the publication of the summer 2020 edition of the RAFINO Reporter:

Dear Larry,
We celebrated my 94th birthday on July 10th at beautiful Bishops Bay Country Club here in Madison.
Maureen and husband Vince Cozzi have been longtime members, so he and their adult children Aidan & Cameron made all the arrangements for a lovely evening. Other than our children who live here, our son Mike from Oak Lawn, IL was the only one from out
of state due to the virus.
As usual, our next issue of the Catholic Herald will include appropriate coverage of my birthday.
We also arranged for a special Mass at our parish in memory of my dear wife Ann and youngest daughter Maureen who died of a cancerous brain tumor on 12/22/2019 at just age 54. The Mass at St. Bernard's was held on July 16th which also happens to be our 70th wedding Anniversary.
Ann and I met, fell in love and were married in Kyoto, Japan on July 16, 1950,  a  few days after the start of the Korean War.
