Note from Jack Rogan

2568, 10 Jul 2019

Received this from Life member Jack Rogan along with his request to pass the thoughts along to all the RAFINO members.

Jack is and has been for some time a stalwart within the retired Finance family and is among the few remaining members of our "most seasoned" cohort:

Many thanks for remembering my 93rd birthday today!
We actually celebrated my birthday on the 6th at Bishop's Bay Country Club with 22 family members present, but continued the celebration until everyone had to leave by today.
I will send you an updated biographical sketch reflecting the highlights of my 25 year active duty military career;  my 13+ years as Wisconsin State Director of Finance; my 38+ years as Financial Advisor to the Bishops of the Madison Diocese, and my involvement with the National Association of State Auditors, Comptrollers and Treasurers, "NASACT", including President in 1983.
I will also list other honors and achievements since moving to Madison in July 1970, including induction into the OCS Hall of Fame at Fort Benning on May 8-9, 2017; Catholic Charities, Madison Diocese Leadership Award, November 9, 2017;  Recipient of the 2019 Albert Nelson Marquis Who's Who Lifetime Achievement Award; and Induction to the "NASACT" Hall of Fame on August 20, 2019 at the Annual Conference in Scottsdale, AZ.
Please pass along my very best regards to everyone,
"Jack"
