MRS. SJELJA CECCHINI - Sjelja is immobile and confined to her wheelchair or bed. 24 FEB 2009
SGM MERLE DAYE - Has a cancerous tumor in the mouth. 2 DEC 2000
29 DEC 2000 - Is recovering nicely from 14 DEC operation.
16 MAR 2001 - Doing well although he is still having trouble opening his mouth.
23 JUN 2001 - Tests show that the cancer is gone. Recovering nicely.
6 JAN 2002 - Sees doctor every six months. Doing great.

13 JUL 2005 - Merle will have bypass surgery Monday 18 JUL 2005.
18 JUL 2005 – The heart bypass was successful.
7 AUG 2005 – His lungs are not functioning. Situation is very serious.
24 MAY 2007 – His prostate cancer is in remission.
26 DEC 2007 -- holding his own. Breathing is still his number one problem. He is almost 24/7 on the oxygen.
29 MAR 2009 – Merle is about the same but is using oxygen about 24/7.
COL BUD EMERSON – In Jan 07 Bud had 5 stints put in as a result of blockage in the heart. He is recovering well from this. In July 07 his right kidney had cancer and was removed. The Left kidney is functioning. Chemo started in early Sep 07 and will continue until the end of Dec 07 when a pet scan will be performed. 19 SEP 2007
1 FEB 2008 – Bud is diagnosed as cancer free & will have monthly check up.
10 FEB 2009 – Bud now has cancer cells in his lungs that are being treated with chemo.

ANNE MARIE (Kipi) DAYE

10 FEB 2005 – She is cancer free at the present, but must still take chemo.
26 DEC 2007 -- Kipi is doing quite well.

COL CHICK CECCHINI - Enters Walter Reed Hospital for jaw restoration. 28 NOV 2000
3 DEC 2000 - COL Chick Cecchini is recuperating at home and is well enough to use a computer
9 JAN 2001 - Feeding tube removed; wires snipped & can eat soft food.
30 MAR 2001 - Recovering from jaw restoration operation without complications. Waiting for operation results to mature to allow implant work to begin.
19 OCT 2001 – Now on a routine of visits to Walter Reed in eager anticipation of getting teeth to eat with.
8 JUN 2002 – Has teeth, eats steak & is over the hump. Wonderful news.
15 MAR 2004 – Had angioplasty and inserted 3 stints. Not feeling like a young man yet.
9 JUL 2006 – Your WebMaster recently visited Chick and found him to be in very good condition. He is now caring for Sjelja.

COL FRANK CLAYTON - Had four (4) by-pass operations. No heart attack. 16 SEP 2002
2 DEC 2002 -- He has had some difficulty with recovery but seem to have turned the corner.
15 APR 2004 – Frank has cardio myopathy which is the beginning of congestive heart failure.
MRS BILLIE CLAYTON - Had to replace pacemaker due to low batteries. 25 SEP 2002
15 APR 2004 – Billie has a problem with her heart beating fast, is on coumadin and has a pacemaker.

MAJ SIDNEY JOHNS - Was treated for severe cellulitis and edema of the legs coupled with dehydration and mental disorientation. 7 DEC 2001
21 FEB 2003 – He is still on "no weight bearing" orders for his feet. He has developed a condition called Carcoot's Disease.
