Dear family & friends -
Today I deeply regret to inform you that the cancer Bonnie has battled for the past several months has metastasized. Since she was significantly deteriorating in health, we did an ER visit yesterday to have tests done. She's now in Community North Hospital in INDY for assesments and some other 'minor' treatments. All vital signs were and remain ok. She is expected to be released to return home to hospice care this coming Saturday. Her current frail condition rules out any surgery, chemo or radiation therapy. We remain in faith believing for a miracle from the Lord to bring her out of this. Your continued prayers in faith for the same are greatly appreciated.

Dave,
While I have known of the battle Bonnie has been going through, I'm so sad to hear of this. I remember meeting you and Bonnie back in the days of Iran. I remember how faith filled both of you were in making people feel welcome and adjusting to all the cultural changes. Also remember Bonnie in the Michigan State graduate program and how helpful and encouraging she was toward me. She is a truly fine classy lady who has a profundly giving heart and joyfilled personality. My prayers are with Bonnie, you and your boys during this time. I know first hand how helpful and supportve hospice care can be in caring for the patient and their family. I pray that Bonnie's care will be comforting to her. One final note, I see the marriage of you and Bonnie much like I see the marriage of former President George Bush and Barbara Bush. Classy, caring, loving, faith filled people who love their Lord and country.
