2206, 23 Feb 2018Please welcome SGM GARY L BLACKMON, SGM as the latest member of our RAFINO family.
I joined the Army in Jun1972. I attended Ft Polk LA for basic training and Ft Ben Harrison for AIT for Finance. I have been assigned to several location in the U.S - Ft Ord CA, Ft Riley KS, Ft Hood TX, Ft McPherson Ga, Ft Ben Harrison IN, Ft Bliss TX, and DFAS Operating Location in Orlando Fl. My overseas assignments were Giessen, Fulda Gap, Heilbronn, and Karlsruhe all in West Germany. I had several tdy mission in and out of country to include 2 Reforger Exercises in West Germany. My favorite jobs were working in FORSCOM @Ft McPherson, 1Sgt , and SGM. I retired on September 30, 1999.
