LTG Karen Dyson sends the following message:
     As I transition from the Army, I would like to thank each of you on the Total Force Financial Management Team for your contributions to enabling commanders and taking care of Soldiers and families. Our mission of financial management support is critical to the Army's success - from developing budget requests that resource Army priorities, to analyzing costs to ensure the best value of every dollar spent, to accountability of American taxpayer dollars, to delivering cash and enabling contracting support on the battlefield, and to assuring every Soldier is properly paid every month - your role in enabling the Army underwrites our success every day.
     As our technology continues to mature, I challenge you to leverage financial information to better see your position, and to improve and standardize your business processes to becoming more efficient in delivering financial support in your lane. Army commanders depend on you to work together to ensure fiscal resources are there when and where needed to support their operational priorities; the American taxpayer depends on you to work together to ensure accountability of every dollar as we strive to achieve Congressionally-mandated auditability. Our force is truly a total force team across the Regular Army, Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve components - working together I know we'll continue to meet the demands of an Army building readiness and supporting Combatant Commanders around the world.
     It has been an honor for me to be on your team! Thank you for all you do every day, and I wish you all the very best in your continued support to our great Army.
