Feedback on LTC J. G. Sumner

Received this email from the daughter of LTC Joseph Sumner, who passed away in 2010.  She would welcome any feedback (to mintonba<at>hotmail<dot>com) from members who may recall or have worked with Joe during his career.

We will be posting excerpts of the album she mentions once we have received it.

My father, LT. COL.  Joseph Gordon Sumner (RET) was a long time member of your organization.   He passed away at age 99 in February of 2010.   I am preparing to scan and reproduce his WWII two photo albums for myself, my brothers, and our grandchildren.    Would your organization be interested in a CD of the period.  It starts in 1943 at Basic Training at Ft. Harrison, Ind and ends with his receiving the Bronze Star at Del Monte Plantation, Mindinao, at about Aug or Sept 1945.   
 
At the time my father compiled the photo albums he was in his 80's but his recall was incredible.  He  identified many of the people in his photo,  at least with rank and last name.  Many were identified by first name and state of origin as well.
