RAFINO/RAFINCO REUNION
YEAR 2000 - LABOR DAY WEEKEND

Sat/Sep 2 thru Tue/Sep 5

You may have been to some really great RAFINO reunions already, or quite likely heard fine things about RAFINO reunions from some good buddies, or simply just thought about going to one of the previously scheduled reunions but somehow just didn't get to it!

Well, hesitate no more!  This millennium year reunion will be the topper.  We've got it all.  We've even added a bridge tournament for the first time. ( Sorry, we simply couldn't set up our usual golf tournament-declining to pay [and charging you] an arm and a leg in fees.

Our Nation's Capital awaits you offering:

4Summer tours in easily accessible open trams take you to, inter alia, the Lincoln Memorial, the Capital Mall monuments, the many Smithsonian Museums, National Art Galleries, etc.  And even the beautifully refurbished Union Station (arguably the best in the country).
4A multi-starred hotel at bargain basement prices.  No kidding, you'll never see Washington, DC hotel prices like this again.
4A sailing-brunch on the Potomac with your RAFINO mates.  The "Odessey" is a local favorite and is loved by tourists as well.  We're holding several hundred seats for YOU and other expected attendees!
4Easy driving to the environs of Northern Virginia and the Chesapeake Bay, e.g., Annapolis, Maryland's quaint historic capital and the beautiful U.S. Naval Academy campus -just 33 easy driving miles to the east.
4And most important! Our official visit to the "Tombs of the Unknowns" at The Arlington National Cemetery-where gallantry and intrepidity are enshrined in the rolling hills and where deeply sleep those who have passed on the torch.  We think you will feel a shiver that will not quickly fade away when we participate in the laying of our (RAFINO/RAFINCO) wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns.  Share the experience of those still standing honoring our fallen comrades.

Colleagues, believe your enthusiastic committee-headed by Jim Martens--This trip is a "keeper"!

You'll go back home to your friends in Florida, California, Texas-or where ever, singing praises and thanking your stars that you didn't miss this year 2000 reunion blast!  AND, besides, you'll each bring home a dandy souvenir reunion T-shirt.  So what are you waiting for?  Quickly locate the Reunion Pre-Registration Questionnaire located at the center of the roster and get going before your buddies beat you to the draw.  Our limited block of rooms will go quickly!
